Lazebna: Subsidy mechanism to work stably during any heating season
KYIV. Sept 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Minister of Social Policy Maryna Lazebna has said that the subsidy mechanism will work stably during any heating season.
"The mechanism of subsidies will work stably during any course of the heating season," she said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
According to the minister, the average subsidy in the heating season will be about UAH 2,000. Lazebna noted that about 3 million households received subsidies last year, and a corresponding number of subsidies is expected this heating season.
At the moment, subsidies have already been assigned to 2.5 million households, and applications continue to come in.
