Latvia recognizes Ukrainian digital COVID certificates – embassy
KYIV. Aug 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Latvia has recognized Ukrainian certificates of vaccination against COVID-19 in the Diia mobile application and QR codes for their verification, the website of the Ukrainian Embassy in Latvia said on Tuesday.
"From August 31, 2021, in accordance with the decision of the European Commission 2021/1380 of August 19, 2021, the COVID certificates that the citizens of Ukraine received in the Diia mobile application and the QR code for their verification are compatible with the current certificate recognition system on vaccination against COVID-19 in the Republic of Latvia," the message says.
