Kyivstar receives $100 mln discounts from equipment suppliers – company president
KYIV. Nov 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Kyivstar mobile network operator Oleksandr Komarov has announced that the company received assistance in connection with the war in Ukraine from equipment manufacturers in the form of discounts and services.
"In October, we held a Vendor’s Day in Warsaw, where we gathered the largest suppliers. And if we look at the prospect of five to seven years in general, we received discounts of about $100 million. This is cooperation. They meet our requests," he said at the panel "Lessons for Business from the War in Ukraine" at the Kyiv International Economic Forum on Thursday.
Komarov said that Kyivstar works with global providers such as Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, and all of them meet the needs of telecom operators by providing various discounts, free services, etc.
