Kyiv resident informs employee of Russian FSB about places of Ukrainian military deployment – Prosecutor General's Office

KYIV. Aug 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Law enforcers have detained a woman from Kyiv who informed an employee of Russian FSB (Federal Security Service) about the places of the Ukrainian military deployment, the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.

She was informed of a suspicion on the fact of unauthorized dissemination of information about the location of objects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under martial law (Part 3 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the suspect took photographs and videotapes of the facilities where the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were stationed on the territory of Kyiv and Kyiv region. She passed this information to an officer of the Russian FSB. The enemy used the data obtained to coordinate the actions of the Russian military to adjust the delivery of missile and air strikes against these objects.

She was detained directly during the filming of a military unit. As a result of the searches, computer equipment and communications equipment were found and seized.
