Kyiv region allocates UAH 145 mln from reserve fund for recovery

KYIV. Aug 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kyiv Regional Council has allocated UAH 145 million from the reserve fund of the regional budget to overcome the consequences of the war and restore the region, Head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration Oleksiy Kuleba said in a video statement on Friday.

"These funds will be used to maintain roads, as well as relevant infrastructure, territorial defense, elimination of hostilities aftermath and prepare for the heating season," Kuleba said.

According to him, UAH 100 million out of UAH 145 million was allocated for the maintenance and development of roads, as well as related infrastructure.

Kuleba noted that Borodianska community will receive UAH 6.7 million, Vasylkivska community – around UAH 19.7 million and Dymerska community – around UAH 12.9 million in order to prepare for the heating season.

In addition, Borodianska community will receive UAH 600,000, Dymeska community – over UAH 2.3 million and Poliska community – UAH 255,000 to manage the aftermath of the hostilities and restore the infrastructure of residential areas.

In addition, another UAH 2 million will be directed to the work of territorial defense and other measures related to the military aggression of Russia.
