Kyiv postpones introduction of new regulatory monetary valuation of land until 2024
KYIV. Dec 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kyiv City Council has decided to postpone the introduction of a new normative monetary valuation of land until 2024, the press service reported.
Some 91 deputies voted for the corresponding decision at a meeting of the city council on Thursday.
"Kyiv City Council decided to postpone the introduction of a new monetary valuation from 2023 to 2024. This will reduce tax burden on business entities in Kyiv," Olena Ovramenko, the deputy head of the standing committee on architecture, urban planning and land relations, said.
Normative monetary valuation value determines the amount of land tax, rent and state duty. According to the current legislation, the assessment is carried out at least once every 5-7 years, the press service notes.
