Kyiv allocates UAH 256.4 mln for construction of Podilsky bridge

KYIV. Feb 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kyiv City Council has approved amendments to the program for the economic and social development of Kyiv for 2021-2023, allocating the unused subvention from the state budget in the amount of UAH 256.4 million for the construction of the Podilsky bridge across the Dnipro River.

According to the press service of the city council, the corresponding decision was supported by 75 deputies at a meeting on February 9.

According to the report, the unused funds of the subvention were intended for the maintenance and development of roads.

In addition, UAH 23.1 million of unused subventions for the socio-economic development of certain territories were allocated for the capital construction and repair of infrastructure facilities in the capital, including UAH 5.4 million for the reconstruction of the stadium of special school No. 10.

Some UAH 17.7 million were also allocated for overhauls: UAH 5.2 million for the square near the Ivan Franko Theatre, UAH 6.9 million and UAH 3.7 million for the repair of two kindergartens and a school in Darnytsky district, UAH 1.9 million – for the repair of a school in Solomiansky district.
