Kuleba: We take a step closer to providing Western tanks, and already opened door through which they can pass
KYIV. Jan 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over the past two days, Ukraine has not only taken a step closer to providing Western tanks, but has already opened the door through which these tanks can pass, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.
"The Lublin Triangle brings concrete results, and already today encourages other partners to increase military support. We are grateful to our Polish and Lithuanian friends. P.S. Over the past two days, we have not only taken a step closer to providing Western tanks. We have already opened the door through which they will be able to pass. But some serious work remains to be done before everything is in the news," Kuleba said on Instagram.
At the same time, the minister noted that in July 2020, he, together with his Polish and Lithuanian counterparts, started the Lublin Triangle as a compact alliance for quick and effective action.
"In two and a half years, the Triangle has gained real weight and reached the level of heads of state thanks to the support of President Zelensky. Today, the Lublin Triangle leads and sets the tone. The decisions announced by the leaders of Poland and Lithuania after negotiations with President Zelensky are real steps that strengthen Ukraine in confronting Russian aggression," the Foreign Minister said.
