Kuleba to take part in meeting of EU FMs, Russia’s war against Ukraine, EU support on agenda
BRUSSELS. Feb 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba will take part in a meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the European Union, on the agenda of which the first issue is the war that Russia is waging against Ukraine, and the support of the European Union.
On the eve of the meeting, which will be held in Brussels on Monday, a senior European official told reporters, announcing the meeting.
He said that Minister Kuleba would personally be with them on Monday, and that they will discuss the main lines of support for Ukraine by the European Union, in particular, military support, bringing to justice (those responsible for the crime) and support for Ukraine in general from the European Union.
The high-ranking official clarified that there are three main issues on the agenda of the meeting: Russian aggression against Ukraine, Afghanistan and climate and energy diplomacy. Apart from this, he said, there will be a lunch with Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Moldova Nicu Popescu, and there will be a discussion of Iran. During the meeting, he added, the High Representative will also address the earthquake and the humanitarian situation in Turkey and Syria.
In addition, before the meeting, the ministers will meet with representative of the Russian opposition Garry Kasparov.
