Kuleba: returning ZNPP under Ukrainian control is only way to ensure nuclear safety, security in Europe
KYIV. Sept 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, in a conversation with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi, said that the return of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) to Ukraine’s control was the only way to ensure nuclear safety and security in Europe.
"In today’s call with Director General Rafael Grossi, I emphasized that the only way to ensure nuclear safety and security in Europe is to return the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant under Ukrainian control," Kuleba said on Twitter on Friday evening.
He noted that Ukraine "would continue engaging constructively with IAEA to achieve this goal."
