Kuleba: Putin's 'red lines' are limited to Russian territory
KYIV. Sept 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba says the "red lines" of Russian President Vladimir Putin are limited only to the territory of Russia.
Putin’s "red lines" are limited to the territory of Russia. From our side of the Russian-Ukrainian border, we ourselves will figure out what to do in the interests of the Ukrainian people and the security of Ukraine and Europe," Kuleba said on Twitter.
Earlier, the Kremlin said that the joint response of Moscow and Minsk to the deployment of NATO troops in Ukraine should ensure the security of both Russia and Belarus.
"These are the actions that will ensure the security of our two allied states," the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said, answering a question from journalists, what could be the response measures of Russia and Belarus to the deployment of NATO troops in Ukraine.
"The topic of the potential expansion of NATO’s military infrastructure in Ukraine has been repeatedly mentioned by President Putin, and Putin said that this is beyond the very "red lines" he has repeatedly spoken about," Peskov said.
