Kuleba names supply of arms, NATO membership, future of Russia as Ukraine's priorities at Munich Conference
KYIV. Feb 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba named three priority topics that Ukraine will promote at the 2023 Munich Security Conference: the supply of long-range missiles and combat aircraft for Ukraine, the membership of the Ukrainian state in NATO and the future of Russia, according to the website of the Ukrainian Foreign Policy departments.
"This year we will promote priority topics for Ukraine at the Munich Security Conference. The key is the supply of long-range missiles and the opening of deliveries of combat aircraft, since aircraft are the last type of weapon that needs to be unlocked, we opened all other positions last year through team efforts We will also talk about Ukraine’s membership in NATO and the future of Russia in general," Kuleba said on the air of the national telethon on Monday evening.
The minister said that a year ago, it was at the Munich Security Conference that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky delivered a keynote speech, in which, in particular, he called for weapons to be provided to Ukraine.
"This Munich Security Conference will be very important. It will bring together key figures in Euro-Atlantic security issues. The focus will be on topics directly related to the security of Ukraine, Europe and the world as a whole," Kuleba said.
