Kuleba: MH17 trial verdicts send message to Russia that no lies can help escape justice
KYIV. Nov 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The first verdicts in the case of the Malaysian Airlines flight MH17, which was downed on July 17, 2014 in the sky over Ukrainian Donbas, on its way from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, send Russia a message that no lies can help to escape justice, all Russian chain of command must be held accountable, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba has said.
"I welcome the first MH17 verdicts. Profound joint effort by Ukraine, the Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, and Malaysia. Today’s verdicts send a message to Russia: no amount of lies can help escape justice. All criminals up the Russian chain of command shall be held accountable," he said on Twitter.
