Kuleba discusses Donbas situation with head of European diplomacy
KYIV. Nov 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has discussed the security situation in Donbas and near the Ukrainian borders with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported.
"The head of Ukrainian diplomacy told the EU High Representative about the security situation in Donbas, Crimea and along the Ukrainian borders," a message posted on Sunday reads.
It clarifies that Kuleba noted the destructive approach of the Russian Federation to the negotiations in the Normandy format and called on the European Union to take political and other measures to restrain Russia from further aggressive actions.
"Borrell assured of the EU’s support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders," the Foreign Ministry said.
