KSG Agro delivers over 100 tonnes of pork to Armed Forces of Ukraine, hospitals in Dnipropetrovsk region since start of war

KYIV. Aug 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the KSG Agro agricultural holding has provided the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and hospitals in Dnipropetrovsk region with over 100 tonnes of pork, assistance was provided directly to military units and hospitals in the region and under agreements with the city military administration of Kryvy Rih.

Since the beginning of the war, the agricultural holding has also produced and sent more than 3,000 cans of pork stew to the above mentioned aid recipients, according to a press release from the agrarian group.

In addition, the agricultural holding placed more than 200 temporarily displaced persons in the village of Nyva Trudova (Dnipropetrovsk region), where the KSG Agro pig complex is located, of which 10 people are already employed at the enterprise.

"We believe that during the war our front is a labor front. Therefore, with the support of the ASU [the Association of Pig Breeders of Ukraine], we submitted lists of employees through Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy to prevent them from being mobilized. Preserving the labor collective allowed us to support the army and our medical institutions in difficult war times," the agricultural holding of its owner Serhiy Kasyanov.

The vertically integrated holding KSG Agro is engaged in pig breeding, as well as the production, storage, processing and sale of grains and oilseeds. Its land bank is about 21,000 hectares.

According to the agricultural holding, he is in the top five pork producers in Ukraine.
