Kredobank issues car loans for UAH 1.5 bln since year start

KYIV. Aug 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kredobank (Lviv) has issued more than UAH 1.5 billion of car loans in seven and a half months, which exceeds the total amount of car loans over the entire 2020, the bank’s press service said.

According to the report, in July 2021, the bank issued almost 500 car loans for more than UAH 293 million.

It is indicated that since the beginning of 2021, Kredobank has issued 2,400 loans for new cars worth more than UAH 1.41 billion, which is also more than over the entire 2020.

In addition, the bank has issued 278 loans for used cars for a total of UAH 130 million.

The press service recalled that during 2020, the bank issued 2,518 loans for new cars for UAH 1.35 billion and almost 400 loans for used cars for UAH 160 million.

Client participation with own funds is on average 30%, the most popular car loan term is 84 months, according to the press release.

Kredobank was established in 1990. Its sole shareholder is the largest bank in Poland – PKO Bank Polski S.A.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), as of June 1, 2021, in terms of assets, Kredobank ranked 16th (UAH 27.353 billion) among 73 banks operating in Ukraine.
