Kredmash posts UAH 40 mln loss in H1 2022
KYIV. Oct 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kremenchuk road machinery plant (Kredmash, Poltava region) in the first half of this year posted a loss of almost UAH 40 million against UAH 31.7 million in net profit in January-June 2021.
According to the company’s reporting published in the disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, its net income for this period decreased by 3.1 times – to UAH 236.6 million.
From operating activities, the plant posted more than UAH 46 million in losses against a profit of UAH 45.6 million a year earlier, and gross profit decreased by almost five times – to UAH 20 million.
Kredmash also published statements for the first quarter of this year, according to which its loss amounted to UAH 2.7 million against a net profit of UAH 23.9 million in January-March 2021, and net income decreased 2.5 times, to UAH 166.7 million.
Thus, in the second quarter of this year, the plant received a UAH 31.2 million loss against a net profit of UAH 7.9 million, while net income decreased 4.7 times, to UAH 70 million.
The report notes that due to the Russian full-scale military invasion, the enterprise experienced a number of failures and problems – a significant reduction in demand for asphalt and soil mixing plants, components and assemblies for them, the possibility of obtaining raw materials, components and shipping products to Ukraine and abroad was disrupted.
Kredmash specializes in the development and manufacture of asphalt mixing plants, spare parts for construction and road equipment, tankers, bitumen trucks, iron and steel castings, consumer goods. In 2021, it sold products worth UAH 1.2 billion.
