Kredmash almost did not produce goods in Q4 2022

KYIV. Jan 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Kremenchuk Road Machinery Plant (Kredmash, Poltava region) practically did not produce goods in October-December 2022, the production volume amounted to only 1.2% of the same indicator in the fourth quarter of 2021, according to an interim report by the plant management.

According to the company’s data for the fourth quarter, published in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, the plant’s sales volume for this period due to unstable operation amounted to 11.1% of sales in October-December 2021.

The report reminds again that due to the full-scale Russian invasion, the enterprise experienced a number of failures and problems: a significant reduction in demand for asphalt and soil mixing plants, units and assemblies for them, the possibility of obtaining raw materials, components and shipping products to Ukraine and abroad was disrupted.

Production activities have also become more complicated due to the destruction of part of industrial facilities as a result of the missile attack on Kremenchuk on June 27.

At the same time, the plant continued to expand the range of manufactured parts from castings and forged blanks in cooperation with Ukrainian enterprises and reduce energy costs.

As reported, the volume of marketable products of Kredmash in the third quarter of the past year amounted to 9.3% of the same indicator in 2021, sales – 11.5%.

Kredmash specializes in the development and manufacture of asphalt and soil mixing plants, spare parts for construction and road equipment, tankers, bitumen trucks, iron and steel castings, consumer goods.
