Krayina insurer raises net premiums by 20%, payments by 24% in Jan-Sept
KYIV. Oct 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Insurance Company Krayina (Kyiv) in January-September 2021 collected UAH 456.098 million in net premiums, which is 20% more than in the same period last year, according to a company’s report posted in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.
It is also noted that the company’s gross premiums for the reporting period increased by 21.2% to UAH 476.002 million. Some UAH 13.030 million was transferred to reinsurers (more by 45.2%).
Over nine months, the company paid out UAH 265.513 million, which is 45.2% more than in the same period a year earlier.
The company’s administrative expenses amounted to UAH 11.352 million (more by 44.3%), sales expenses – UAH 113,687 (more by 18.4%).
Gross profit is UAH 123.28 million (less by 5.7%). Net profit amounts to UAH 665,000 versus UAH 25.857 million for the same period a year earlier.
Insurance Company Krayina has been operating in the insurance market of Ukraine since 1994. It has licenses for 27 types of insurance.
