Korniyenko denies Razumkov's words concerning bribes to MPs for vote on resignations

KYIV. Sept 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – First deputy head of the Servant of the People faction Oleksandr Korniyenko says that anti-corruption bodies will be able to figure out the situation regarding the information spread in the media about alleged bribes offered to MPs "for a vote on some resignations."

"I wasn’t offered, I didn’t offer. Then it belongs to the field of work of anti-corruption bodies, they work perfectly well […] I think there will be no problems to highlight it all. But I think it’s more of a rumor. Moreover, given the media that were the first to spread such information, I would not trust them fully, although they pretend to be the best media in the country, but there is a lot of unverified information," Korniyenko said at a briefing on Monday.

Earlier, at the conciliation council, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Dmytro Razumkov called on anti-corruption bodies to check the information spread in the media about possible bribes, which are allegedly offered to MPs "for a vote on some resignations."
