Kolomoisky's house searched in Ukrnafta case – media

KYIV. Sept 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) conducted a search of businessman Ihor Kolomoisky at his place of residence in the Bukovel resort, ZN, UA reports on Sunday afternoon, citing witnesses to the events.

During the search, documents, a gadget were seized, and its contents were downloaded, ZN.UA publication reported.

Sources of the publication in NABU confirmed the fact of the search, while emphasizing that this was almost the first time in their memory that there was a search, about which no one was warned.

According to the report, the search, which, according to witnesses, began at 5 am, concerned the case of the seizure of property and funds of the Ukrnafta for almost UAH 13 billion in 2015 prices. The case was opened under the article on "seizure of other people’s property by abuse of official position by an official, by prior agreement by a group of persons, on an especially large scale." Suspicions on it were ready in 2019, but they were not signed for three years.

According to the publication, Kolomoisky is not involved in this case as a defendant, he was not charged with suspicion. But he is a co-owner of Ukrnafta, where recently SAPO prosecutors and NABU detectives announced suspicions of financial fraud to the former chairman of the board, former deputy head of the department for the sale of oil, gas and oil and gas processing products, the former head of the control department for oil accounting and supplies and oil products and former directors of five commercial enterprises, one of them was detained.
