KMZ Industries delivers silos to Estonia for first time

KYIV. Sept 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) – An Estonian agro-company, engaged in the cultivation of niche crops and their processing, has begun the installation of three silos with a volume of 752 cubic meters with a storage capacity of 602 tonnes each, supplied by KMZ Industries (Karlivka Machine Building Plant, KMZ, Poltava region), the press service of the machine plant reported.

According to a press release, Estonian farmers plan to use this capacity for storing rapeseeds. The name of the company was not disclosed.

"KMZ Industries already has experience of cooperation with agrarians of the Baltic countries, and even this year of export we opened with a contract with Latvia. But in Estonia, this is our first installation. This means that in the export portfolio of KMZ Industries there is plus one country and one more client satisfied with cooperation," head of the export direction of the enterprise Serhiy Blinov said.

He stressed that KMZ Industries has a good reputation in the foreign market, confirmed by EU certificates.

KMZ Industries manufactures silos on a flat base, with a conical bottom, silos for storing flour, Brice-Baker mine grain dryers (British design) and particle board (Ukrainian design), transport equipment (bucket elevators, chain, belt and screw conveyors), separators for grain cleaning, assembles and automates elevator equipment and technological processes at granaries.
