Kharkiv Ukrenergomashiny ships spares to Kazakhstan and Bulgaria in April

KYIV. May 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrenergomashiny (formerly Turboatom and Electrotyazhmash, Kharkiv) shipped spare parts for Aksu TPP and Ekibastuz GRES in Kazakhstan, as well as for Bulgarian-based Kozloduy NPP, in April, the press service reports.

According to a report on its website, the enterprise shipped $50,000 worth of products for the turbine of unit No. 2 of Aksu TPP. Steam turbines manufactured by Ukrenergomashiny were installed at all eight units of Aksu TPP.

For the 500 MW turbine of block No. 2 of Ekibastuz GRES-1, on four blocks of which turbines of Ukrenergomashiny are installed, equipment worth $700,000 was shipped.

In addition, last month the company shipped spare parts worth EUR56,000 for the turbine of power unit No. 5 of Kozloduy NPP in Bulgaria.

Aksu TPP is part of one of the main electricity producers in Kazakhstan JSC Eurasian Energy Corporation, supplies 20% of electricity to the Kazakhstani market.

Ekibastuz GRES-1 is the largest thermal power plant in Kazakhstan.

Kozloduy NPP is located on the bank of the Danube River. The station has two operating VVER-1000/320 power units with a total capacity of 2,000 MW.

Ukrenergomashiny is the only Ukrainian manufacturer of turbine equipment for hydro, thermal and nuclear power plants. The geography of deliveries of the enterprise covers 45 countries of Europe, Asia, America and Africa.

In early April, as a result of enemy shelling, some production facilities of Ukrenergomashiny were damaged.
