Kharkiv airport wants to build hangars for servicing aircraft
KYIV. Sept 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Aircraft hangars for maintenance and painting of aircraft are planned to be built at the Kharkiv international airport, according to the website of the Kharkiv City Council with reference to its Secretary Ihor Terekhov.
According to him, a total of eight hangars are planned to be built. Six of them will be used for aircraft maintenance and two for dyeing.
"This cooperation is very important from the point of view of attracting investments to the city. Investors assure us that as a result we will get about 1,500 jobs with wages of UAH 30,000. This is also additional taxes to the budget. That is why our city is completely open to investors. In this regard, the competition between the cities of Ukraine is great, and I am glad that Kharkiv is winning in this fight," he said after meeting with investors, the press service of Kharkiv City Council reported.
Terekhov said that equal and transparent conditions for the work of investors have been created in Kharkiv, thanks to which it is possible to lead among the regional centers of the country in foreign investment.
