Kazakhstan wants to reach agreement with Gazprom to import 4-10 bcm of gas
MOSCOW. Oct 12 (Interfax) – Kazakhstan, which is actively ramping up gas consumption and will soon experience a shortage, is counting on reaching an agreement with Gazprom on purchasing 4-10 billion cubic meters of gas, Kazakh Energy Minister Bolat Akchulakov told journalists.
"Starting from 4 billion, we can now, as well, but in 2024," Akchulakov said, adding that he plans to agree on the purchase of 10 bcm of gas at most.
