Kazakhstan needs nuclear power plant – president
NUR-SULTAN. Sept 3 (Interfax) – The time has come for Kazakhstan to consider the construction of a nuclear power plant, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
"In my opinion, it’s time for us to give consideration to this issue, considering that Kazakhstan needs a nuclear power plant," Tokayev said in a virtual speech at the plenary meeting of the Eastern Economic Forum.
