Kazakhstan lifts restrictions on wheat and flour exports
NUR-SULTAN. Sept 15 (Interfax) – Kazakhstan’s Agriculture Ministry has lifted restrictions on exports of grain and flour, the ministry said in a press release.
An order on the matter signed by Agriculture Minister Erbol Karashukeyev went into effect on September 14.
"Now Kazakh agricultural producers are allowed to sell wheat and flour abroad without any restrictions," the press release says.
The restrictions were introduced on July 8, 2022 through September 30, 2022, and including a quota of 550,000 tonnes of wheat to third countries and 370,000 tonnes of flour to third countries.
