Kazakhstan boosts oil output 2.4% YoY in Jan 2023
ALMATY. Feb 17 (Interfax) – Kazakhstan boosted output of crude oil 2.4% year-on-year to 6.9 million tonnes in January 2023, and cut production of gas condensate 7.4% year-on-year to 1.068 million tonnes in the period, the country’s National Statistics Bureau of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reform said in a statement.
In the reporting month, the output of natural gas in gas form dropped 4.9% to 2.037 billion cubic meters, while production of associated petroleum gas edged up 1.3% to 3.125 bcm.
Kazakhstan produced 494,100 tonnes of gasoline, including aviation fuel, in January 2023, up 20.6% year-on-year.
Diesel production increased 12.7% to 421,800 tonnes, and heating oil output rose 14.4% to 315,500 tonnes.
