KYIV. Oct 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The JYSK chain of furniture and household goods stores has signed a lease agreement for premises in the Karavan Outlet shopping center (Kyiv), Yevhen Ivanitsa, JYSK country manager in Ukraine, has said.
"Delayed due to air alerts, but finally signed a new lease agreement with the Karavan Outlet shopping center, Kyiv. The opening of the JYSK J094 store is scheduled for February 2023. The first agreement was signed in a bomb shelter," he wrote on his LinkedIn page.
Ivanitsa also said that the restoration of the JYSK J014 store in the Riviera shopping center (Odesa), which was seriously damaged by a missile strike in the spring of 2022, has begun. They are trying to reopen the store before the end of the year.
He named JYSK J077 in the Happy.Mall shopping center (Rivne) and JYSK J078 in the Mens shopping center (Ivano-Frankivsk) among the new chain stores that are being prepared to open this year.
"The restructuring of JYSK J037 stores in the Novus shopping center, Ternopil, and J012 in the Lavinia Mall shopping center, Kyiv, to the new 3.0 format continues. The store area of J012 will be increased by 200 square meters," Ivanitsa added.
