JYSK opens new brick-and-mortar 3.0 concept store in Kyiv
KYIV. March 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Scandinavian chain of stores for the home JYSK has opened a new store in Kyiv’s Karavan shopping center, the company’s press service told Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.
It is the first opening in 2023. The company is announcing two more openings in the spring.
“Before the start of the war, JYSK had 85 operating stores in Ukraine. Over the past year, we have resumed the work of most of them, opened four new ones, and plan to open two more new stores by the summer of 2023 – in Lviv and Kolomyia,” Country director JYSK in Ukraine Yevhen Ivanitsa said.
The store in the Karavan shopping center with an area of 1,446 square meters was built in line with the modern network 3.0 concept, with appropriate lighting and spatial design, and zonal placement of product categories for more comfortable shopping. The store has an outlet format, which implies the presence of a larger share of discounted goods in the assortment. The shopping center is equipped with a generator.
Today, JYSK has 83 stores in Ukraine and an online store jysk.ua. JYSK in Ukraine has 825 employees.
