Judicial reform to be completed this time – Zelensky
KYIV. Dec 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – This is not the first time that judicial reform has been conducted in Ukraine, but this time it will be completed, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said.
"The fight against corruption is both a fair and independent court. Judicial reform in Ukraine. So far there is nothing to be proud of. We are only at the beginning of the road. We have just voted the first two laws. It is not the first time that judicial reform has begun in Ukraine. But for the first time it will be brought to an end," the head of state said, speaking in the Verkhovna Rada on Wednesday.
He expressed gratitude to the MPs who supported the laws aimed at implementing judicial reform, judges who are ready to implement it, and international partners who support Ukraine in this direction.
"This path will be very difficult," Zelensky said.
