Izium grain processing factory fulfills production plan by 87% in 2020/2021 MY – Food and Grain Corporation
KYIV. Aug 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Izium grain processing factory (Kapytolivka, Kharkiv region), a branch of JSC State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine, in the 2020/2021 marketing year (MY, July-June) sold 33,000 tonnes of animal feed, having met its production target by 87%, the corporation said on the website on Tuesday.
According to the corporation, the branch is one of the leading enterprises for production of compound feeds in Ukraine. The main activity of the plant is production of more than 800 types of compound feeds for all types of farm animals, poultry and fish. The plant’s elevator capacity is 44,300 tonnes of one-time storage of agricultural crops, on which the company provides services for receiving, bringing the quality of grain and oilseeds to basic condition, its storage and shipment.
JSC State Food and Grain Corporation was established by the government of Ukraine in August 2010. It includes an extensive network of branches: linear and port elevators, mills, feed and cereals factories. In total, 53 divisions of the corporation’s branch can store 3.7 million tonnes of grain, including about 2.5 million tonnes per year of total capacities for shipment of grain cargo for export in Odesa and Mykolaiv ports.
