It is result of our deoffshorization – Razumkov on resonance regarding leakage of offshore documents
KYIV. Oct 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov believes that the authorities who are affected by the new leak of offshore documents by the Pandora Papers should comment on this situation themselves.
"I think it’s better for the colleagues to answer about their companies themselves, I have no offshore companies. I see that on the pages of all publications […] Today Danylo Oleksandrovych Hetmantsev wrote a post […] Today we are in the tops on this issue. And regarding certain companies, it would not be correct for me [to comment this], I think my colleagues will be able to independently answer this question. I believe that the authorities should be as open as possible," Razumkov said at a briefing on Monday.
As reported, according to Slidstvo.Info, information about more than 1,500 Ukrainians, including President Volodymyr Zelensky and his colleagues from previous work, Minister of Culture Oleksandr Tkachenko, businessmen Oleksandr Yaroslavsky, Ihor Voronin and Rinat Akhmetov, ex-owners of PrivatBank Ihor Kolomoisky and Hennadiy Boholiubov, MP Oleksandr Hereha are mentioned in the Pandora Papers new global leak of offshore documents.
According to the data they received, in particular, the offshore companies of Zelensky and his team have allegedly received $40 million from offshore companies associated with Kolomoisky since 2012, when the Kvartal 95 studio started cooperation with the businessman’s 1 + 1 TV channel.
At the same time, it is indicated that before being elected president in 2019, Zelensky transferred his share in the offshore company to Serhiy Shefir.
