Ista-Center battery manufacturer posts UAH 12.8 mln loss in 2022
KYIV. March 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ista-Center battery manufacturer (Dnipro) in 2022, according to preliminary data, posted a loss of UAH 12.78 million, while in 2021 its net profit was UAH 154.85 million.
According to the information published in the disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission on the agenda of the general meeting of shareholders scheduled for April 19, by the beginning of this year the company had retained earnings (UAH 27,000).
The shareholders plan to repay the loss incurred last year at the expense of profits from previous years.
According to the publication, in 2022 the company reduced current liabilities by 4.5 times – to UAH 6.88 million, long-term ones decreased by 10% – to UAH 2.59 million.
The assets of Ista-Center decreased by 11.3% over the year, to UAH 268.62 million, primarily due to a 2.5-fold reduction in total accounts receivable, to UAH 17.6 million, as well as cash to UAH 140,000 compared to UAH 3.84 million.
The equity capital by the beginning of 2023 amounted to UAH 256.35 million, charter capital – UAH 128.17 million.
The agenda of the meeting included, in particular, issues of re-election of the supervisory board and the audit commission, approval of the main activity (production of batteries and accumulators) and plans for 2023.
Ista-Center, which has been operating since 1995, is one of the manufacturing plants of starter batteries of the Ista group in Dnipro.
The company has not yet announced the results of operations in 2022.
At the beginning of 2022, the company employed about 130 people.
