KYIV. Dec 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Israel donated 17 generators of different capacities – 110 kVA, 170 kVA, 220 kVA and 250 kVA – to institutions in Kherson region, the Energy Ministry has said.

"We are glad that Israel has the opportunity to help Ukraine in these difficult times of the war. I wish that every Ukrainian home was bright, I wish not to break down and stand in the face of these difficult trials that have befallen Ukraine," Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the State of Israel to Ukraine Michael Brodsky during the equipment transfer ceremony.

According to Minister of Energy Herman Haluschenko, who participated in the transfer of generators, this gives a powerful impetus to the restoration of the region as a whole.

"Such support shows that everyone is uniting to make the life of people in the de-occupied territories normal and civilized, unlike what they experienced under occupation," the minister said, noting that the situation in the de-occupied territories remains difficult, given the destruction, in in particular, and energy infrastructure.

He added that the Ministry of Energy will additionally send 21 generators and 24 transformers to Kherson region, received as humanitarian aid from international partners.
