Invincibility Town for over 1,000 seats opened in Kyiv – K. Tymoshenko
KYIV. Jan 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Invincibility Town was opened on the territory of Darynok in Kyiv, at the moment it has more than 1,000 places for recreation, Deputy Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko said.
"We are working on all possible options for further developments. Our power engineers managed to stabilize the system, but the weather can make adjustments, which means we must be ready for new challenges. In Kyiv, on the territory of Darynok, they created Invincibility Town, this is 68,000 square meters, where people can warm up, charge gadgets, spend time with children," Tymoshenko said in a telegram on Friday.
According to him, more than 1,000 places for recreation have already been prepared on the territory of Horodok, a Starlink hub, separate zones for learning and teaching have been equipped.
In addition, Horodok has a space of 2,000 square meters for kids. A separate area of more than 5,000 square meters designed for walking pets.
According to Tymoshenko, there is a cafe and a food court on the territory of the Invincibility Town. There is also a mother and child room, a first-aid post and two pharmacies.
"In the event of a blackout, Horodok will operate autonomously, seven generators with a total capacity of 2 MW provide continuous operation, and communication works thanks to seven Starlink terminals. It is a correct and good initiative," he said.
