Investments in Khortitsa Mall in Zaporizhia to amount to EUR 110 mln – Budhouse Group
KYIV. Oct 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Investments in the implementation of the Khortitsa Mall shopping and entertainment center (SEC) project in Zaporizhia will amount to EUR 110 million, including through a loan from the Polish bank BGK, COO of Budhouse Group Maksym Havriushyn has said.
"We have already started the work. The concept will be presented tentatively in October. As for financing, we expect to sign a loan agreement with BGK (the same bank that financed the Nikolsky shopping and entertainment center). We plan to sign the loan agreement by the end of October," Havriushyn said in an interview with the Association of Retailers of Ukraine.
According to him, the total area of the Khortitsa Mall (the working name of the Fabrika-2 SEC) will be 91,000 square meters, lettable – 69,000 square meters. The launch of the facility is scheduled for the spring of 2024.
The project provides for the placement of a nine-hall Multiplex cinema, a children’s entertainment center Smile Park (5,000 square meters), a public space for events (2,000 square meters), a food court, and about 250 stores in the mall. In general, the entertainment area in the mall will be on about 15,000 square meters. The infrastructure of the facility will also include a parking lot for 1,500 cars.
The planned attendance of the Khortitsa Mall shopping center is 12 million people a year, Havriushyn said.
