Invaders suffering significant losses in Bakhmut and Avdiyivka directions, decide to transfer regiment from Syria to Ukraine – AFU General Staff
KYIV. Sept 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian occupiers continue to suffer significant losses as a result of the successful actions of the units of the Defense Forces in Bakhmut and Avdiyivka directions, according to the operational information on the Russian invasion as of 18.00 Tuesday, published on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Medical institutions of the town of Horlivka are overflowing with seriously wounded servicemen of the occupation forces. In addition, two large trucks with the bodies of the dead from the 1st Army Corps of the Armed forces of the Russian Federation were moved from the territory of Kherson region to the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region. The number is being specified," the summary says.
According to the General Staff, due to the unsuccessful implementation of covert mobilization measures, the military and political leadership of the Russian Federation decided to withdraw units of the 217th Parachute Regiment from the territory of Syria and their subsequent preparation for transfer to the territory of Ukraine.
