Invaders massively engaged in looting in Kherson region, may fire at residential areas to blame AFU – region’s head
KYIV. Nov 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration Yaroslav Yanushevych, with reference, states that it is highly likely that the Russian occupiers will shell residential areas of Kherson region in order to blame the Armed Forces of Ukraine for this.
"Russians are sending SMS messages to residents of the temporarily occupied Kherson region, in which it is reported about the alleged intention of the AFU command to carry out a massive artillery bombardment of civilian infrastructure. People are being called for so-called evacuation. Also, local residents are warned about the introduction of a curfew during the day," Yanushevych wrote on Telegram on Monday, referring to Ukrainian intelligence data.
He also said that in the settlements of Kherson region on the right bank of Dnipro, the occupiers are massively engaged in looting. "In particular, private houses, shops and warehouses are being robbed in Beryslavsky district. In the village of Liubymivka, the military from Russia seize almost all available vehicles: buses, cars, trucks. Local service stations and car parks have been completely looted," the head of the regional administration said.
Also, according to him, the occupiers are moving their equipment and cars with looted property over the dam of Kakhovska hydroelectric power station.
"All documentation has been removed from the local councils of settlements located along Dnipro. The occupiers’ commandant’s offices are equipped in the premises themselves. In the villages of Olhivka and Tokarivka, the occupiers blew up mobile communication towers of Ukrainian operators," Yanushevych said.
