Introduction of agri drones creates 1,100 jobs in Ukrainian agriculture in 2021
KYIV. Aug 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The development of the agricultural drone industry in 2021 made it possible to create 1,100 additional jobs in the country’s agriculture, while drone operators and technical experts in their maintenance became the most in demand.
"With the intensive introduction of unmanned technologies in agriculture, the demand for innovative specialties is growing. The development of services provided by spraying drones increases employment in the regions and rural areas, which significantly enhances economic activity," the DroneUA integrator of unmanned solutions said on Facebook.
According to him, the demand for spraying drone services in Ukraine is growing steadily, new service teams are appearing on the market, and service operators are expanding the number of drone crews.
"Working with agricultural drones means working in an innovative industry, and therefore – constant professional development, helping farmers through the integration of modern technologies in agribusiness, as well as stable and high market earnings," the company summed up.
According to the DroneUA website, it is the largest importer and distributor of drones in the market of Ukraine and Eastern Europe, presents technological solutions from the brands XAG, EcoFlow, Pix4D, Parrot, Chasing, DroneDeploy, AgroCares, etc. The group of companies has its own engineering, manufacturing and service divisions, a data processing center has been opened.
The technological solutions presented are used on more than 4 million hectares of sown areas in Ukraine. According to the results of the 2021 agricultural season, more than 1 million hectares were treated with drone sprayers from DroneUA.
