Interpipe provides 470 mobilized employees with equipment and ammunition

KYIV. May 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe, with the support of Victor Pinchuk, provided 470 mobilized workers of the group’s enterprises with equipment and ammunition.

According to the company’s press release, since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, Interpipe has been running a corporate volunteer headquarters with the support of Victor Pinchuk, the main task of which is to support the mobilized employees of the company.

"And there are many of them – 760 employees are defending the country in the ranks of the Armed Forces and territorial defense, 580 of them have been mobilized since the end of February. At present, the mobilized Interpipe employees are protecting Ukraine in hot spots in Kharkiv, Luhansk, Zaporizhia, Donetsk and Kherson regions," the company said.

At the same time, it is specified that, first of all, the company helps mobilized colleagues with body armor, and also supplies them with special tourniquets and hemostatic drugs. If necessary, tactical equipment is provided – uniform, army boots, anti-fragmentation goggles, tactical gloves, sleeping bags, etc. Tactical equipment was ordered in Germany, Denmark and Ukraine, it is of excellent quality. Workers in hot spots were also provided with special equipment – thermal imagers and walkie-talkies.

In addition, the volunteer headquarters handles specific requests. For example, for tools for repairing equipment, sapper or bayonet shovels, or camouflage nets.

"I’m proud of my Interpipe and the team that did everything to ensure that our defenders have the best equipment! We try to find even very unexpected requests – from army boots to a small stove, car repair keys, a sapper’s bag, lens fluid. We can say that we have a separate battalion of Interpipe, only scattered over dozens of brigades around Ukraine. Together we will win!" Liudmyla Novak, the director of corporate relations at Interpipe, commented on the situation on Facebook.

Earlier it was reported that Interpipe handed over 21 thermal imagers and more than 100 sets of walkie-talkies to the company’s employees who protect Ukraine at the forefront.
