Interpipe allocates almost UAH 2 mln for medical care to military, hospitals of Dnipropetrovsk region

KYIV. May 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe, together with the Revival of Region foundation, created and financed with its support, has allocated more than UAH 1.8 million to help hospitals in the city of Dnipro and the military of Dnipropetrovsk region in the form of necessary medicines and equipment.

According to the company’s press release, Interpipe systematically provides assistance to medical institutions in the region.

At the same time, it is specified that with the allocated funds, the company purchases medicines for hospitals that receive victims from the areas where hostilities continue. Medical facilities are being given "artificial blood" preparations, antiseptics, painkillers and other medicines, dressings and medical consumables. If necessary, humanitarian aid is also provided: hygiene products, bedding, drinking water.

Interpipe also helps hospitals with equipment. So, the other day, one of the medical institutions in Dnipro received medical furniture for the operating room: an operating and manipulation tables, as well as a functional bed. For another hospital, the company purchased an electrocoagulator. Last week, a ventilator, an oxygen concentrator and auxiliary equipment were donated with the support of Victor Pinchuk’s Social Initiative Charitable Foundation.

In addition, the company completes first-aid kits for mobilized workers and donates medicines for Ukrainian defenders to the front line.

Interpipe is a Ukrainian industrial company, a manufacturer of steel pipes and railway products. The company’s products are supplied to more than 80 countries through a network of sales offices located in key markets of the Middle East, North America and Europe. In 2021, Interpipe sold 602,000 tonnes of pipe products and 174,000 tonnes of railway products. Railway products are sold under the KLW brand.

Interpipe employs 10,000 people. In 2021, the company transferred almost UAH 3 billion to the budgets of all levels.
