Interior Ministry offers condolences to families, friends of Brovary helicopter crash victims
KYIV. Jan 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Interior Ministry of Ukraine has offered condolences to families and friends of those killed in a helicopter crash in Brovary, Kyiv region, on Wednesday.
"The Interior Ministry offers condolences to families and friends of the deceased," the ministry said on its website.
On January 18, Interior Minister of Ukraine Denys Monastyrsky, his First Deputy Yevhen Enin, State Secretary of the Interior Ministry Yuriy Lubkovych, Deputy Head of the Patronage Service of the Interior Ministry Tetiana Shutiak, Head of the Protection Division of the Internal Security Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Lieutenant Colonel Mykhailo Pavlushko, Leading Inspector of the Communications Department of the Interior Ministry Mykola Anatsky, aircraft commander – instructor of the special-purpose aviation squadron on helicopters Oleksandr Vasylenko, pilot of the special-purpose aviation squadron on helicopters Kostiantyn Kovalenko, and on-board mechanic of the special-purpose aviation squadron on helicopters, warrant officer of the civil protection service Ivan Kasianov died in the helicopter crash while on duty, the ministry said.
