In Ukraine, over 150,000 people vaccinated against COVID-19 per day – Health Ministry
KYIV. Sept 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Some 157,049 people have been immunized over the past 24 hours, the press service of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine reported in the Telegram channel.
"A total of 157,049 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the past 24 hours on August 31, 2021. Some 54,355 people received the first dose, 102,694 people were fully immunized," the report said.
It is noted that 981 mobile teams, 2,962 vaccination points, 327 vaccination centers worked during the day.
The Ministry of Health reported that since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 5,413,772 people have been vaccinated, 5,413,770 of them have received one dose, 3,825,401 people have been fully immunized and received two doses (two of them received one dose abroad).
"A total of 9,239,171 vaccinations were carried out," the department’s press service said.
