In Kyiv region, over half of schools to continue work in 'yellow' quarantine zone – Kyiv regional state administration
KYIV. Sept 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the Kyiv regional state administration Vasyl Volodin said that 48% of kindergartens, 57% of schools, 48% of out-of-school educational institutions and 86% of vocational education institutions will continue to work in the "yellow zone" of quarantine.
Among the innovations of the "yellow" epidemic zone is the ban on visiting educational institutions that have less than 80% of the staff vaccinated. Those kindergartens, schools, vocational education institutions and universities that do not comply with this requirement, will be closed. This time they will not be transferred to online training," Volodin was quoted as saying by the press service of the Kyiv Regional State Administration on Tuesday.
According to the regional state administration, there are a total of 1,255 educational institutions in the Kyiv region. Currently, 653 institutions in the region will be able to continue working in the "yellow" quarantine zone.
As reported, the State Commission for Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations introduced a "yellow" level of epidemic danger throughout Ukraine from September 23.
