In case of possible hybrid attack by migrants from Belarus, Ukrainian army ready to fulfill its tasks – Reznikov
KYIV. Dec 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In case of a possible hybrid attack by migrants from Belarus, the army will be ready to do its part of tasks, said Defense Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.
"After the de facto Anschluss of Belarus, we have more than a thousand kilometers of additional border that need to be protected, especially in winter. We understand these risks and are preparing. Under the coordination of the NSDC, an algorithm for the interaction of all power structures has already been worked out. In case of a possible hybrid attack by migrants from Belarus, the army will be ready to do its part if the threat level grows," he said during the "hour of questions to the government" in the Verkhovna Rada in Kyiv on Friday.
