Illegal ‘referendums’ will not be able to stop AFU – Podoliak
KYIV. Sept 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Illegal "referendums" in ORDLO and in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region will not be able to stop the Armed Forces of Ukraine, adviser to the head of the Office of the President Mykhailo Podoliak said.
“Russians decided to respond asymmetrically to Ukraune’s counteroffensive. Thinking that illegal ‘referendum’ will stop HIMARS and the Armed Forces from destroying occupiers on our land. Do you really want to spend the time needed to escape for a new show? Try…It will be interesting …,” Podoliak said on Twitter.
As reported, the so-called "referendums" on joining Russia will be held in certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions (the so-called "DPR" and "LPR") from September 23 to September 27. This decision was made on Tuesday by the so-called "people’s councils" of fake republics.
Later, head of the occupation administration of Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo, announced the holding of a so-called "referendum" on September 23-27 on the issue of the region becoming part of the Russian Federation.
