Hotel occupancy in Lviv stands at 53%, in Kyiv at 14% in July – Hotel Matrix
KYIV. Aug 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The occupancy of hotels in Lviv in July was 53%, in Bukovel – 23%, in Odesa – 19%, in Kyiv – 14%, follows from a study of the Hotel Matrix project, the results of which the company made public for the first time since the beginning of the war.
According to the data on the company’s Facebook page, published on Thursday, compared to January 2022, a noticeable drop is recorded: by three times in the capital – from 45% in January to 14% in July, in Lviv from 55% to 53%, in Bukovel from 84% to 23%, in Odesa from 30% in January to 19% in July.
ADR indicators (the average daily rate) for hotels in Lviv in July amounted to UAH 2,374 (against UAH 2,509 in January), in Bukovel – UAH 1,454 (UAH 3,622), in Kyiv – UAH 1,832 (UAH 1,952), in Odesa – UAH 1,392 (UAH 1,544 in January).
RevPAR (revenue per available room a day) in Lviv in July amounted to UAH 1,256 (in January – UAH 1,373), in Bukovel – UAH 258 (UAH 3,042), in Kyiv – UAH 258 (UAH 875), in Odesa – UAH 267 (UAH 463).
Hotel Matrix is a hotel analytics web product developed by specialists from Poland and Ukraine. It was launched in May 2020. Now 154 hotels are connected to Hotel Matrix.
