Hospital damaged, paramedic injured in enemy shelling of Kovsharivka in Kharkiv region – local authorities

KHARKIV. Jan 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian occupation forces shelled residential areas in Kupiansk, Chuhuyiv, and Kharkiv districts along the entire contact line in the past 24 hours, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov said on Wednesday morning.

"In the town of Kovsharivka, Kupiansk district, a shelling caused damage to the local hospital. A 51-year-old paramedic suffered injuries. He was hospitalized in condition of moderate severity," he said on the Telegram channel.

In addition, the building of Kupiansk Motor Transport College, garages and other non-residential buildings were destroyed as a result of an enemy missile strike. Also, a private housing district was hit in Dvorichna. At least four private houses were damaged by enemy shelling in Vilcha.
