Honorary Consulate of Turkey to open in Lviv
KYIV. Jan 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Turkey plans to open an Honorary Consulate in Lviv in 2023, which will contribute to the implementation of joint projects, Head of Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytsky has said.
"This was announced today during our meeting by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine Yagmur Guldere," he said on the Telegram channel on Monday.
The official stressed that Guldere considers Lviv region one of those regions of Ukraine "where international cooperation is most active. The opening of the Honorary Consulate will contribute to the implementation of joint projects and strengthen international contacts and ties. The work of the consular institution is planned to be launched this year," Kozytsky said.
